Ministries at MIUMC

The activities and programs of the church are planned and carried out by the members of the Administrative Council. There are many opportunities for service on the committees that compose the Council:

Mary's Place

We provide shelter several times a year for Mary's Place women and children. We also contribute personal hygiene items on an ongoing basis.

Atlantic Street Center

There are many opportunities for volunteering with Atlantic Street Center, including tutoring and school nursing services, in this special program for homeless children in Seattle.

Emergency Feeding Program

Donations of non-perishable food are collected each week for the food bank. We often add these offerings to our other gifts and tithes at worship.
